I have received a couple of concerned email responses.  No cause for alarm. 
This is a requirement by the district for our Yosemite hikes. (also required for camping) 
 
We do have 1 RN going which meets the minimal trip requirements but we would really appreciate having a second First Aid qualified person .   
The health care person can be any of the following:
 

First Aid certified (need a copy of the certificate)
EMT
RN, M.D. , N.P. . with a current license.
