Hi Bruce,

 

I am working for a few days at Belmont high and I want to first of all
aplogize for being late in sending out a "Thank you" to you and the Zoo
parents for all their hard work in working together in keeping my job at
the Zoo.

 

Since May, not a moment went by that I was not thinking what is going to
happen with my position and Lee saying to me, "don't worry".  Well I
did, at times a few days would go buy and then it would slowly come back
to mind.  I was trying to clean up as much as possible if the situation
did arise that I would no longer be here at the Zoo.

 

I kept thinking what could I do to make a smooth transition for the next
clerk and then I would get busy.

 

But enough of that!  I want to want to say Thank you! from the bottom of
my heart, to you and every parent that took part in letter writing,
e-mails, phone calls what ever was done continuously to the district in
order for me to keep a job that I truely cherish and cannot imagine
being anywhere else.  It has truely become my home away from home over
these past 6 years where I can honestly say I enjoy walking into the Zoo
Magnet every morning  knowing that I will have not one student but
several already waiting for me to arrive to just talk about their day,
their plans, their needs or just about their friends.  Parents always
willing to help when called upon or just assist the school in any way.
I could not find this anywhere else and to know that I have affected so
many students and their parents just leaves me without words of
gratitude.

 

Again, please express my sincerest Thanks to all the parents, Linda,
Cherilynn, Robin, Nancy R, the Pattiz's and so many others that I just
cannot name, but they know who they are and I could go on and on and
never finish.

 

So I end with a note of appreciation and look forward to another
wonderful school year ahead of us.
